How to Make Mail Truck Box Cards for Christmas

LEARN TO MAKE ADORABLE BOX CARDS TO GIVE YOUR MAIL PERSON THIS CHRISTMAS USING YOUR CRICUT CUTTING MACHINE

My mail carrier is amazing! She delivers not only our daily mail but a big bulk of my Amazon purchases as well! She always has a big smile on her face and goes the extra mile for everyone.

So, when someone in our Facebook group asked if I had a card for mail carriers, I knew I had to design one!

This card is very embellished and full of detail. However, the basic assembly is simple.

I have even included a version for my Canadian friends. Here is what the front of the Canada Post Box Card looks like:

In this tutorial, I’ll give you my step by step instructions and tell you what materials I think work best when making this project.

  1. This postal truck card is simply adorable. I just flagged down my carrier 30 minutes ago to hand her some last Christmas Cards (the beautiful Nativity Concertina card and the Cardinal card among them)! It was so nice of her to stop and pull over that I would love to thank her with this lovely card! Thanks Nick. Another gem!

  2. Nick, you are the gift that keeps on giving. Thank you for this wonderful card and tutorial. Blessings to you and your family this holiday season.

  3. Oh wow. This is great, I’m making it first thing in the morning for my mail carrier Jimmy he’s great, just like you. Thanks for sharing your talent.

  4. Thank you SO much for this adorable pattern!!! I just finished one and can’t wait for my mailman to get it tomorrow! As I’m kind of a newbie to Cricut, I really appreciate your step by step explanations!! Can’t wait to try more!!! Merry Christmas!

  5. Thank you for a wonderful card! I do not get the stripes on the front, my logos are too small & I had a hard time to align it to fold? I truly appreciate the file guess I am having some issues? Any help is appreciated!

    1. Hi Teri,

I’m sorry you are having some issues. I need you to clarify the “not getting the stripes in the front”.

The logos are the appropriate size for the card as I designed it. Are you uploading on the mobile Design Space app? What dimensions is the entire design uploading at?

The four pieces form the box. Line up the tops and bottoms of the pieces and create right angles as I mention in the video tutorial. There may be one way the card folds better or flatter but it will work.

Let me know how I can help further.

  6. loved this card! Almost too cute to give away. I made one for my home postal carrier and one for the office carrier. Next year I might simplify it by using vinyl for the stripes, and then making one in brown for the UPS delivery! Many thanks for all these amazing free designs. Cheers, from Atlanta, GA
