Yummy Vanilla Cupcakes
LEARN HOW TO MAKE YUMMY VANILLA CUPCAKES THAT ARE MOIST YET STURDY
A few days ago, I shared my Vanilla Buttercream recipe with you. Since then, I have had a lot of requests for the cupcakes I used along with that buttercream. So, here's the recipe for the Vanilla Cupcakes I made.
This recipe makes around 18 large cupcakes. They are moist and have the texture of pound cake! Mmmmmm!

Yummy Vanilla Cupcakes
These vanilla cupcakes are a moist yet sturdy enough to withstand how ever much frosting you want to pile on them! So sweet. So yummy!
Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup (1.5 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
Instructions
STEP 1 - GATHER INGREDIENTS
STEP 2 - PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT
STEP 3 - ADD DRY INGREDIENTS TO MIXING BOWL
Mix sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer until combined.
STEP 4 - ADD BUTTER
Add butter to mixture.
Mix on low until it has the appearance of sand.
STEP 5 - ADD MILK AND VANILLA
Combine milk and vanilla then add to mixture. Mis on low speed for 30 seconds then increase to medium for another 30 seconds.
STEP 6 - ADD EGGS
With mixer on low, add one egg at a time. Increase speed to medium for 30 seconds between each egg. Once all eggs have been added, scrape bowl and beat on medium for an additional 30 seconds.
STEP 7 - SCOOP INTO CUPCAKE LINERS
Scoop batter into cupcake liners that have been placed in a muffin pan.
STEP 8 - BAKE
Bake cupcakes in preheated oven for 19-22 minutes, checking for doneness.
STEP 9 - COOL COMPLETELY
Let cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack before frosting. Enjoy!
