How to Make Slimline Christmas Cards

LEARN TO MAKE FUN CHRISTMAS TILE SLIMLINE CARDS ON YOUR CRICUT CUTTING MACHINE

I love how slimline cards look. I am not sure what it is but they are so fun to make.

This Christmas Tiles Slimline Card is so cute. The little tiles are layered together to create cute little characters.

If you aren't a fan of intricate cuts, don't worry. I have a simpler version within the download that doesn't create the border around the tiles.

In this tutorial, I’ll give you my step by step instructions and tell you what materials I think work best when making this project.

Basic and Premium TBH Crafters Club Members can download the SVG cut file for this project in the File Library.

Attach your cardstock to the Cricut StandardGrip Mat using the Cricut Brayer.

STEP 6 - LOADING YOUR MATS AND CUTTING YOUR MATERIALS

To load the mat into the machine, press the double arrows button. Do make sure that the mat is positioned under the mat guides.

You will know the machine is ready to cut your material when you see the flashing "C" button. Press that to start the cut.

Follow Design Space prompts to change out the scoring wheel and fine point cutting blade.

Once the cut is complete, make sure to peel the mat away from the cardstock rather than the cardstock from the mat. This will prevent any curling of your design.

Repeat Step 6 for until all layers have been cut.

Now that everything is cut, we can start to assemble.

  1. Besides the cards that are so stinking cute, I am loving the papers that you are using for the envelopes. Thank you for including a link for them in the instructions. I see a lot of paper on my Christmas wish list 😉

  2. You are so talented and truly blessed. Such a cute card, I look forward to watching your tutorials every day. Can you please tell me what brand of glue you use? I love the thin tip,

  3. Hey Nick, where could I find the little tray with dividers you use for your tiny pieces, I can’t seem to find anything like that and think it would be helpful when making these cards with tiny bits. Loving your cards!

    1. Honestly, it is just one of my kids’ reusable plastic lunch trays.

I don’t remember where it bought it but I came in a pack of four with the trays, cups, and bowls.

Maybe try Amazon? It is invaluable for projects with little pieces!!
