Instructions
STEP 1 - PURCHASE & DOWNLOAD THE SVG CUT FILE
You can purchase the SVG Cut File for the Christmas Bell Layered Paper Craft from my shop here.
STEP 2 - UPLOAD THE SVG FILE TO CRICUT DESIGN SPACE
If you aren't familiar with uploading SVG files into Design Space, take a look at my quick and easy tutorial here. Using your smartphone? Click here for my step-by-step guide on uploading SVG files with the Cricut App.
STEP 3 - RESIZE DESIGN (OPTIONAL)
Using the sizing bar, resize your project if desired. Make sure to leave the proportions locked.
Click the GREEN Make It button.
STEP 4 - MAKE YOUR MATERIAL SELECTIONS AND PREPARE YOUR MATS
You will see the layers for this project in the mat preview.
Click the CONTINUE button.
For this tutorial, I am using Medium Cardstock. Select your materials accordingly.
Attach your cardstock to the Cricut StandardGrip Mat using the Cricut Brayer.
STEP 5 - LOADING YOUR MATS AND CUTTING YOUR MATERIALS
To load the mat into the machine, press the double arrows button. Do make sure that the mat is positioned under the mat guides.
You will know the machine is ready to cut your material when you see the flashing "C" button. Press that to start the cut.
Follow Design Space prompts to change out the mats.
Once the cut is complete, make sure to peel the mat away from the cardstock rather than the cardstock from the mat. This will prevent any curling of your design.
Repeat Step 5 for until all layers have been cut.
STEP 6 - ASSEMBLE YOUR PROJECT
Now that everything is cut, we can start to assemble the papercraft.
Layer the papercraft. I have included a Layering Guide for you to view. Use foam squares to add more dimension between the layers.
Your project is complete.

This is so cute. I have a leaded glass front door that makes a traditional wreath impractical so this bright and cheerful paper display will be perfect. Thanks for sharing!
Very retro looking paper craft design Nick. Reminds me of what we used to decorate with back in the day. Very festive and fun! Hugs, Brenda
Really disappointed cause I could download file!!!!
Hi, if you login to the website, and go to your dashboard (not the event page if you are not a paid member) and then click on the Holidays with the Housewife event, you can download it from under the picture of the day 2 bell. I hope I didn’t confuse you with this. Good Luck.
Love this one! I’m making it right now. I will hang it in my window as wekk as make cards once I re-size it. Thanks Nick!! (●’◡’●)
how to get tothe instruction to layer the design
Hi I think you are looking for the Layering guide. It is in the download folder. You double click to open the zipped folder and then you double click on the Christmas Bell layered file and when that opens you will see a PDF file that has the Layering Guide. You just double click that and you can see it or print it out. I hope this helps. Otherwise, if you want the instructions they are farther down the original page from the email link.
Very nice, thank you.
This is so pretty. Thanks.
i could not find the layering guide.
Thank you Nick for the fabulous first two Holiday 12 Days!
Nick, thanks so much for this – it brings the warm tingles thinking of my gran’s bells as well and they remain a favourite of mine till now. We have a vintage ornament like this and so this craft is extra special to me. You are so appreciated – blessings.
I made it into an easel card. Turned out beautiful. Thanks
