Follow Design Space prompts to change out the scoring wheel and fine point cutting blade.
Once the cut is complete, make sure to peel the mat away from the cardstock
rather than the cardstock from the mat. This will prevent any curling of your design.
Repeat Step 6 for until all layers have been cut.
STEP 7 - ASSEMBLE YOUR CARD
Now that everything is cut, we can start to assemble the card.
First, fold the box piece along the score lines and burnish with your scraper.
Mat and layer the messaging panel.
Now, attach the messaging panel to the back of the card base.
Let's start layering the embellishments for the inside cover panel.
First, layer the tree section. Refer to the Layering Guide located within the download for further assistance.
Now, layer the main pieces for the barn.
Layer the barn door and attach to the barn.
Layer the windows and attach to the barn.
Next, attach the clouds to the inside of the box piece.
Attach the tree section to the inside of the box piece followed by the barn.
Now, let's work on the inside tab piece.
Fold and burnish the score lines.
Layer the cow together and attach to the main tab piece.
Add the fence pieces to the main tab piece.
Layer the front cover panel together.
Add glue to one of the tabs on the inside tab piece.
With the box piece opened, attach to one of the side walls. Make sure to line up the edges to ensure everything folds flat.
Fold the inside tab piece over and repeat for the other side. This time, fold the box piece over to adhere the two together.
Fold the card in both directions to make sure everything is laying properly.
Add glue to one of the front tabs on the box piece and adhere one side of the front box piece.
Repeat for the other side.
Your card is done.
STEP 8 - FORM THE ENVELOPE
To make the envelope, begin by folding along the score lines and press the folds with your scraper.
Add glue to the back of the inlay panel as well as around the cutout.
Place the inlay panel over the cutout on the envelope making sure to center it well.
Bring the side flaps in and add glue to the bottom of the flaps.
Bring the bottom flap up and press to form the envelope.
Your card and envelope are finished!
