Easel Sticky Note Holders for Teachers
LEARN TO MAKE FUN EASEL STICKY NOTE HOLDERS FOR YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER TO SHOW THEM HOW MUCH YOU APPRECIATE THEM
It is that time of year to show the teachers some love and appreciation! Well, we really should be doing that much more than just Teacher Appreciation Week but that's another conversation.
I came across something similar to this design while browsing Pinterest during Back to School season and it stuck in my brain. Now, the version I saw was not reusable. You just glued the sticky notes to the inside of the easel and that was that.
Well, I wanted something teachers could reuse. So, I designed mine with an insert that has a slit to place the sticky notes into. When your teacher is done with the pad of sticky notes, he or she can replace it with another pad.
I have included two designs. An apple and a pencil.

Instructions
STEP 1 - DOWNLOAD THE SVG CUT FILE
Download the SVG Cut file for the Easel Sticky Note Holder (#77) from The File Vault. Get access by joining the club.
STEP 2 - UPLOAD THE SVG FILE TO CRICUT DESIGN SPACE
If you aren't familiar with uploading SVG files into Design Space, take a look at my quick and easy tutorial here. Using your smartphone? Click here for my step-by-step guide on uploading SVG files with the Cricut App.
All the score lines have been set for you.
Click the green MAKE IT button in the upper right corner.
STEP 3 - MAKE YOUR MATERIAL SELECTIONS AND PREPARE YOUR MATS
When you get to the PREPARE screen, you will see the mats required for this project. Click CONTINUE.
For this project, I am using Medium Cardstock and selecting MORE for my pressure setting.
STEP 4 - LOADING YOUR MATS AND CUTTING YOUR MATERIALS
Attach your cardstock to the Cricut StandardGrip Mat. I prefer to use a brayer to ensure the material adheres properly to the mat.
To load the mat into the machine, press the double arrows button. Do make sure that the mat is positioned under the mat guides.
Hit the "C" button once it begins to flash and you are on your way to cutting out your project!
STEP 5 - ASSEMBLE YOUR PROJECT
Now that everything has been cut, it is time to assemble your sticky note holder.
Begin by adding glue or adhesive to the backside of the red apple layer.
Place on the brown backing layer, making sure to line up the edges.
Continue adding the pieces to the apple.
Now, gently fold along the score lines of the easel layer.
Press the folds with your scraper.
Next, add glue or adhesive to the insert layer.
Make sure to only add glue or adhesive to the area above the slit and along the edges. You want to leave the middle area free of glue.
Adhere the insert to the inside of the easel layer. I placed mine roughly two inches from the bottom.
Now, add glue or adhesive to the area below the score line on the front of the easel layer.
Place the apple on the front of the card making sure to line up the bottom edges. Press with your hand to make sure the layers have adhered well.
FInally, place the backing paper on the sticky note in the slit of the insert layer.
Your gift is ready!

Thank you so much for sharing. You are so talented and inspiring.
This is so cute. Do you have a video for this? I downloaded the apple one but the score marks were in the SVG as a cut file so I am unsure where to make the final folds. I can’t tell from the photos here.
Hi Grace,
This project was uploaded before a recent update that prevents any preset score and draw lines. You will need to convert the score lines under the operation menu and then attach.
For more help with this, I have a tutorial here: https://thebeardedhousewife.com/how-to-use-the-operation-menu-in-cricut-design-space/
